In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

We hear these days’ strange words and bizarre thoughts coming from people who appear on the satellite channels and speak in the matters of the Ummah with obscurity claiming that they are those with apparent clarity in matters. It seems that people have no other occupation these days than to talk about those whose path is Jihad; accusation, suspicion, diversion, belittling, betrayal and frivolous claims come forth.

The chatter has increased and the speeches have doubled, dressed in the attire of constructive criticism and brotherly advice with words that appear loving but hide behind evil, malice, treachery and complicated ignorance… 

One is amazed as to how those who have stayed behind (Khawalif) criticize the people of Jihad saying “you have wronged, you left, you and you!!” And who are you to speak on behalf of the Mujahideen?

They say, “this near us is not permissible”… and who are you to speak of what is “near you”? The Mujahideen do not have any care except Jihad!! The Mujahideen have abbreviated the religion as a whole in Jihad. They don’t know preaching and do not have the knowledge of even setting up an industry leave alone setting up a nation… all their care is Jihad!! The Mujahideen kill the innocent!! The Mujahideen are not conscious of the present!! The Mujahideen use violence!!

Who are you O who is sitting of those who have stayed behind? O you who have disobeyed Allah by leaving the Jihad that has been made obligatory on all of us. Really! “If you feel not shy, do what you like!”

A person feels ashamed to reply to the likes of these words while the bodies of the unbelievers are spread out in front of our eyes from what these men release from the recorded raids!! Is not the picture more informative than words!! If it wasn’t in our knowledge that there are innocents who have attained such a degree of innocence that they believe these empty-headed people, we wouldn’t have taken the pains to clarify, but:

If there wasn’t anything except the aged as a ride then what choice does one have except to ride it!

So let’s walk with these critics step by step, and express the condition of their silly talks, that do not work except on the brainless:

Let those who play with the religion say this has no hikma



بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 
قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ [١٠٩:١] 
Say : O ye that reject Faith! 
﴿١﴾ 


لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ [١٠٩:٢] 
I worship not that which ye worship, 
﴿٢﴾ 


وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ [١٠٩:٣] 
Nor will ye worship that which I worship. 
﴿٣﴾ 


وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَا عَبَدْتُمْ [١٠٩:٤] 
And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, 
﴿٤﴾ 


وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ [١٠٩:٥] 
Nor will ye worship that which I worship. 
﴿٥﴾ 


لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ [١٠٩:٦] 
To you be your Way, and to me mine. 
﴿٦

please contemplate upon this surah. how does the one who impliments this surah run after the tawagheet hoping to take a pic with him?

 this is an open declaration of the path you are on. you are declaring that you are enemies to them and their religion and that you have nothing to do with them. to you be your deen, and to me mine.

Some lessons from the people of cave

نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ نَبَأَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ فِتْيَةٌ آمَنُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ وَزِدْنَاهُمْ هُدًى [١٨:١٣] 
We relate to thee their story in truth: they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We advanced them in guidance

وَرَبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ إِذْ قَامُوا فَقَالُوا رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَنْ نَدْعُوَ مِنْ دُونِهِ إِلَٰهًا ۖ لَقَدْ قُلْنَا إِذًا شَطَطًا [١٨:١٤] 
We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity

and they didnt stop there, they objected their people for the shirk they were doing 

هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمُنَا اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً ۖ لَوْلَا يَأْتُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ بَيِّنٍ ۖ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا [١٨:١٥] 
"These our people have taken for worship gods other than Him: why do they not bring forward an authority clear (and convincing) for what they do? Who doth more wrong than such as invent a falsehood against Allah?

response to those who claim no maslaha in al baraa--by sheikh abdul latif ibn abdur rahman

And the Shayikh Abdul Latif ibn Abdur Rahman said in one of his essays, while speaking about openly making the religion known while commanding the good and forbidding evil, “and leaving that due to cozying up and good treatment and the likes of this, which some of the ignorant do, is a greater harm and more sinful than to leave it(ie: commanding good and forbidding evil) out of ignorance. This is because this group (ie: those who cozy up) saw that achieving the livelihood could not occur without that. So they opposed the messengers and those who came after them and they left out from their path and their methodology (manhaj) because they perceived that the wise thing to do would be to please the people according to their various statuses. And so they treated them peacefully and they sought to attain their love and benevolence. And this, despite the fact that there is no (valid) path to it, is a prioritization of the portion of the self and the (personal) pleasantries. And it is making peace with the people and abandoning the enmity for Allah’s sake and enduring the harm for its (ie: the dawahs’) sake. And this, in reality, is the destruction in the hereafter. So he has not tasted the taste of faith (iman); he who has not formed allegiance to Allah and to enmity for his sake. And the intelligence- all of the intelligence- is what leads to the pleasure of Allah and his messenger. And this can only occur with the spitting of the enemies of Allah and prioritizing his pleasure, while becoming furious when his sanctities are violated. And the anger comes from the liveliness of the heart and its protective instincts (ghira) and its glorification (of Allah). but if there is no life or protective instincts or glorification or anger and disgust (for Allah’s sake), and if it does not differentiate between the vile and good, in terms of his interactions and his allegiances and his enmities, then what goodness would remain in the heart of such a person

Forming democratic parties for the benefit of the dawah is not from the guidance of the prophet

 The following is a small paragraph from the book of Sheikh Sultan bin Bijad al 'Utaiby (rahimahullah) entitled:

"The fifth doubt: is about those who perpetrate a haram thing for the benefit of the da’wah."

This was against the guidance of the Rasul (peace be upon him)

Some of the evidences which show that the Prophet (peace be upon him) never performed a disobedient act for the sake of a maslahah (benefit or interest)[*] are:

1)      In the Seerah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) we know that the Quraish sent Utbah to negotiate with the Prophet (peace be upon him) to abandon cursing their deities. Utbah tried negotiating, he said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), ‘If you want a position of leadership then we will not disobey you ever, if you want a wife we will get you married, if you want wealth we will give you wealth just don’t revile our deities.’ This offer which they presented did not contain something of Kufr in it; it was just an offer that contained haram (i.e. refraining from openly declaring the fact that they were upon falsehood and openly showing hatred to their false deities). Yet the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not accept such an offer. Think about this: they are offering the Prophet (peace be upon him) to be a leader. The Prophet (peace be upon him) could have thought that being a leader would be beneficial for the da’wah since then he could be an influential person[**] However, the Prophet (peace be upon him) did not abandon openly showing his wala and bara for the sake of such a benefit.

2)      Narrated in Muslim: The Quraish came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and they wanted to sit with him on the condition that he (peace be upon him) send away the weak Muslim. Allah send down the verses:

{ولا تطرد الذين يدعون ربهم بالغداة والعشىّ يريدون وجهه ما عليك من حسابهم من شيء وما من حسابك عليهم من شيء فتطردهم فتكون من الظالمين} [الأنعام/52]

Open letter to sheikh safar al hawali

Shaykh Yusuf Al `Iayree-In Defence of the Mujahideen- The following is an extract from the Mujāhid Shaykh, Yūsuf Bin Sālih Al-`Iyairī’s letter titled ‘In Defense of The Mujāhidīn: An Open Letter to The Respected Shaykh, Safar Al-Hiwālī.’ [1] 

The Shaykh’s aim in this letter is to request further clarification on statements which remain somewhat ambigious in Shaykh Safar Al-Hiwālī’s letter: ‘A declaration to the Ummah’[2] . He adds however a list of 33 statements which appear to be explicitly against the mujāhidīn at the same time acknowledging that there remained many other statements which were of a lesser explicit nature. Number 5 on the list is the claim that the Mujāhidīn ‘possess no Manhaj’ which can be found in page 8 in Shaykh Safar’s letter. It is this misconception that Shaykh Yūsuf Al-`Iyairī tackles first before moving on to other claims. 

He resolves that the best response would be for him to offer ‘a true portrayal of the thought and methodology of the Mujāhidīn according to a witness who was among them, one who comprehended their method and thought, who knows whom they sought counsel from and whom they didn’t, and how they were treated by the people of knowledge and Da’wah (Propogation)’[3] . All this he claims will be clarified as a defense for Jihād and the Mujāhidīn.

Upon this we live, upon this we die, upon this we wage Jihad and upon it we hope to be raised up.

In the Name of Allāh, the Beneficent, the Most-Merciful


So this, O brethren in Islām, are some of the miracles of the Mujāhidīn in the events that took place in Kuwait at the beginning of 2005 between the Mujāhidīn and between the protectors of the cross.


And before I mention these miracles;


We should remember that the Mujāhidīn there had prepared the preparations and readied themselves to hit the crusader bases from which the American and British convoys would launch off for the purpose of hitting and killing the Muslims in Irāq.


Jihad binds upon them as well

Have you not seen those who were told to hold back their hands (from fighting) and perform Salah and give Zakah, but when the fighting was ordained for them, behold! a section of them fear men as they fear Allah or even more. They say: "Our Lord! Why have You ordained for us fighting Would that You granted us respite for a short period'' Say: "Short is the enjoyment of this world. The Hereafter is (far) better for him who fears Allah, and you shall not be dealt with unjustly even equal to the Fatil.)

Surat Nisah 77

how much does this remind us of the zaahid worshippers of today, the cry their onto their cheeks rivers of tears in prayer, and they are the best at charity, but when fighting is mentioned, behold, a section of them fear men as they fear Allah, or even more

this reminds us of what Abdullah bin Mubarak RA sent as a letter to Fudayl bin Iyadh Ra.(i will mention the important tafsir of the above ayah[Nisa 77] after reminding us of the letter)

Mujahidin Cause Mischief on Earth?

the tyrant rulers and the  scholars that recieve salary from them accuse the mujahidin of sowing corruption and causing mischief on earth. 
 
and so was Musa Alayhi salaam accused of 
 
 
وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِي أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُ ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَنْ يُظْهِرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ [٤٠:٢٦]
Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!"
seems all tyrant rulers speak the same words eh? they said it yesterday and they say it today. they say it against every one who calls for Tawheed. anyways we ll see who the real mischief makers are- they are the ones who try to gain peace between us and kuffar.


وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ [٢:١١]
When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!"
﴿١١﴾


أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَٰكِنْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ [٢:١٢]
Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.

(And when it is said to them: "Do not make mischief on the earth,'' they say: "We are only peacemakers.'') meaning, "We seek to be friends with both parties, the believers and the disbelievers, and to have peace with both parties.'' Similarly, Muhammad bin Ishaq reported that Ibn `Abbas said,

﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِى الأَرْضِ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ ﴾

(And when it is said to them: "Do not make mischief on the earth,'' they say: "We are only peacemakers.'') means, "We seek to make amends between the believers and the People of the Book. '' Allah said,

﴿أَلا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَـكِن لاَّ يَشْعُرُونَ ﴾

(Verily, they are the ones who make mischief, but they perceive not.). This Ayah means that the hypocrites' behavior, and their claim that it is for peace, is itself mischief, although in their ignorance, they do not see it to be mischief.refer to ibn kathir's tafsir of surah baqara 11-12 

Zakath

Zakat (Alms)


Ramadan is the month of giving and benevolence, the Messenger was more benevolent than a falling rain. Muslims are encouraged to emulate the Messenger of Allah (saws), to assess and pay their Zakat during the month of Ramadan, thus combining the two pillars of Islam at the same time.


Zakat (alms) is the name of what a believer returns out of his or her wealth to the neediest of Muslims for the sake of the Almighty Allah. It is called Zakat because the word Zakat is from Zakaa which means, to increase, purify and bless.
Who Should Give Zakat


The obligation of Zakat is mandatory on every Muslim who possesses the minimum Nisaab, whether the person is man, woman, young, old sane or insane. Because the proof of Zakat in Al-Qur'an and Sunnah is general and does not exclude young or insane. Allah (SWT) stated that: "Of their goods take alms so that thou mightiest purify and sanctify them..." (Al-Qur'an, 9: 103)


Imam Ibn Hazim said that every Muslim young or old sane or insane needs to cleanse his or her wealth with Zakat because of generality of the evidence. Anas bin Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Trade with the money of the orphan, lest it is eaten up by Zakat." (At-Tabraani) In another Hadith `Amru bin Shuaib related from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah said:


"Whoever is entrusted with money of an orphan should trade with it and should not leave it sitting to be used up by charity." (Tirmidhi)

What to give as Zakath?

Al-Shaafa'i (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “If the staple food of a people is corn, pearl millet (dukhn), thin-husked barley (sult), rice or any grain on which zakaat is obligatory, then they may give it as zakaat al-fitr.
(Al-Shaafa'i, al-Umm, part 2, Baab al-Rajul yakhtalifu qootuhu)

Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “Our companions said: ‘It is a condition of giving something as zakaat al-fitr that it should be one of the foodstuffs on which zakaat is paid at the rate of one-tenth (i.e., zakaah of grains and fruits). Nothing else is acceptable except aqit (dried yoghurt), cheese and milk.’”
Al-Maawardi said: “This is the case even though some of the people who live on islands and others have fish or eggs as their staple food; these are not acceptable (as zakaat al-fitr) and there is no difference (among the scholars concerning this). As regards meat, the correct view is that stated by al-Shaafa'i and confirmed by al-Musannif and the companions in all that was narrated from them: that it is not acceptable (as zakaat al-fitr), and this is the unanimous view (of the scholars)… Our companions said: ‘This is the case even if their staple food is fruits on which they do not have to give one-tenth as zakaat, such as figs etc. These are not acceptable (as zakaat al-fitr) at all.”

Two Characteristics of Taaifah Al Mansoorah

the book al-Jihaad wal Ijtihaad by Aboo Qataadah al-Filisteenee. He mentions a Hadeeth describing at-Taa'ifah al-Mansoorah, and derives from it two unique characteristics.
 
1. Physical Jihaad.
2. War booty and spoils.
 
Here is the Hadeeth he quotes (also declared Saheeh by al-Albaanee in Saheeh Sunan an-Nasaa'ee #3333):
روى الإمام النسائي وغيره بسند صحيح عن سلمة بن نفيل الكندي (من قبيلة كندة) رضي الله عنه قال: كنت جالساً، فقال رجل: يا رسول الله؛ أذال الناس الخيل، ووضعوا السلاح، وقالوا: لا جهاد، قد وضعت الحرب أوزارها، فأقبل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بوجهه وقال: (كذبوا، الآن جاء دور القتال، ولا يزال من أمتي أمَّةٌ يقاتلون على الحق، ويزيغ الله لهم قلوب أقوام، ويرزقهم منهم حتى تقوم الساعة، وحتى يأتي وعد الله، والخيل معقود في نواصيها الخير إلى يوم القيامة، وإنه يوحى إليّ أني مقبوض غير ملَبَّث، وأنتم تتبعونني أفناداً، يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض، وعقر دار المؤمنين بالشام).
